The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master-Quartz reference 23303-42 in stainless steel with a blue dial, a piece from the 1970s, when the great Swiss houses were racing to master the new technology of quartz timekeeping. Jaeger-LeCoultre, the Valle de Joux manufacture behind the Reverso and the Memovox, brought its own quartz watches to market under the Master-Quartz name, and these early examples are now an interesting and affordable way into vintage JLC, carrying the brand's crest and Master-Quartz signature on the caseback.
The blue sunburst dial shifts beautifully in the light, with applied baton markers, slim polished hands and a date window, framed by a cushioned steel case with that unmistakable 1970s shape. It is fitted on a period steel bracelet. As a vintage watch it shows wear consistent with its age and presents in good vintage condition, and it is covered by our 12-month in-house warranty.
This timepiece is offered as the watch only.
