The Yacht-Master II went a whole decade without an update. Rolex quietly retired the outgoing 116680 in early 2026 and dropped the reference 126680 at Watches and Wonders — the first full-generation refresh of the regatta chronograph since 2013. This is one of the very first examples to hit the Australian market.
44mm steel case, redesigned with a more refined domed profile that reads slimmer than the outgoing model. Matte white lacquer dial engineered to cut glare in bright conditions on the water. The countdown display now sits on a raised flange for cleaner legibility, with the half-minute markers and countdown hand picked out in red against the blue Cerachrom Ring Command bezel — the visual signature of the reference.
The Ring Command bezel is what makes this watch what it is. Rotate the bidirectional bezel and it mechanically programs the countdown timer — crown, bezel and movement all mechanically coupled. It’s still the only regatta chronograph on the market that does this. Inside is Rolex’s new-generation automatic chronograph movement with 72 hours of power reserve, Superlative Chronometer certified to plus or minus two seconds a day. The bracelet gains a wider lug width and a slimmer clasp for better balance on the wrist.
