This is the 50th anniversary edition celebrating the Silver Snoopy Award that NASA gave to Omega after Apollo 13 — and unlike most “limited editions,” this one actually earned its hype.
This example is a 2022 model in excellent condition — full set with the original Omega box, booklets, and warranty card. You also get two extra aftermarket straps and an additional Omega strap, which is a nice bonus. The original Omega international warranty runs through to 2027, so you’ve got genuine manufacturer coverage for the next year and change.
The white and blue dial design is instantly recognisable. The silver Snoopy medallion at 9 o’clock is the star, but the real party trick is on the caseback — a hand-painted Snoopy riding the command module around the far side of the moon, animated by the running seconds. The Co-Axial Master Chronometer 3861 movement inside is METAS certified, anti-magnetic to 15,000 gauss, and runs at 50 hours power reserve. At 42mm on the blue nylon strap, it wears comfortably and doesn’t feel like a novelty piece — it feels like a proper Speedmaster that happens to have an incredible story behind it.
